Building Sustainable NGOs for Social Impact

Thurs. & Fri., February 22 – 23, 2018, 9am-5pm

Description: Over two days of interactive workshop activities, participants will explore the major ideas, trends, processes, and unique qualities animating the design and launch of successful social impact non-profit organizations. Participants will train on mission development, business planning, project planning/design, budgeting, board development and management, branding/marketing/technology utilization, networking, presentation skills, and launch plans. The course will supplement academic literature and lectures with case studies, in-class workshops, interactive group discussions, participant presentations, and experiential activities.  Passion, creative and critical thinking, and intellectual drive will be key to getting the most out of this course.
